Description

Build and maintain internal REST services to enable media player engineers and QA partners to validate video and audio playback.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an internal REST service written in TypeScript.
• Design systems and procedures to expand and scale services.
• Automate processes around deliverables and manage test-stream and mock-service catalogs.
• Own the end-to-end fulfillment of test content requests and surface mock services across the ecosystem.
• Create documentation for test content and relevant services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript.
• 3+ years of experience with advanced TypeScript.
• 2+ years of experience building APIs.
• 2+ years of experience leading a project.
• 2+ years of experience working in a cross-functional capacity.
• Experience mocking data and services.
• Experience writing unit tests and using Test Driven Development.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, and access management.
• Experience manipulating or proxying data to augment application state.
• Understanding of agile methodologies and git source control.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience working with functional paradigms.
• Experience with AWS and SQL.
