Description

Lead test automation efforts for web, API, and batch systems using Typescript and Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automated test frameworks in Typescript and Python for web and API testing.
• Implement continuous integration and deployment testing workflows using Concourse.
• Develop end-to-end, integration, and unit tests using Playwright and Selenium.
• Analyze test results, report bugs in Jira, and monitor quality metrics in Confluence.
• Participate in software design discussions and review code for quality and maintainability.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software development and test automation.
• Proficiency in Typescript, Python, and Javascript.
• Experience with testing frameworks: Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools, specifically Concourse, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Database knowledge including SQL, Postgres, MsSQL, or Bigquery.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and SVN.
• Ability to create synthetic data and manage test data versioning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with batch system automation.
• Background in backend development or platform engineering.
