You will serve as a User Acceptance Tester and Tier 3/4 Application Support Architect for the Texas Student Data System (TSDS).
Responsibilities
Execute accurate and thorough testing of TSDS application changes within strict time-sensitive deadlines.
Resolve or escalate complex Tier 3 and 4 support incidents reported through the Incident Management System (TIMS) in accordance with SLAs.
Coordinate with stakeholders to identify system requirements, develop implementation strategies, and create solutions for monitoring applications and data collections.
Author technical documentation and knowledge base articles derived from ticket analysis.
Monitor customer support mailboxes and queues to ensure timely responses and appropriate routing.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in analyzing and troubleshooting complex data issues, system software, and procedures.
Proven expertise in writing and interpreting SQL queries.
Deep understanding of XML schema, data types, syntax rules, and dependencies.
Strong grasp of referential integrity and data quality concepts.
Experience understanding data and domain types within an enterprise data warehouse.
Experience reviewing test cases and validating results.
Ability to synthesize and analyze complex information to make sound decisions.
Excellent written and oral communication skills for training both technical and non-technical users.
