Description

You will own User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution and defect tracking for business-critical applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute UAT test cases, plans, and scripts aligned with business requirements.
• Validate application functionality through functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or Azure DevOps, ensuring accurate evidence.
• Verify bug fixes and conduct re-testing after issue resolution to confirm stability.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA, and Development teams to resolve blockers.

Required Skills

• 2–5+ years of experience in UAT, Functional Testing, or Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Proficiency in creating and executing detailed UAT test scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools, specifically Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Ability to perform functional, regression, and integration testing independently.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of SQL for basic data validation.
• Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail or HP ALM.
