Description

You will lead Linux operations and provide expert-level architecture guidance for Ubuntu-based environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team and mentor Linux specialists to resolve complex issues.
• Design, implement, and administer Linux-based solution architectures and hardware/software products.
• Handle escalated technical calls and provide high-level troubleshooting.
• Manage user profile management and server operations.
• Consult on IT infrastructure improvements and system implementations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience supporting Microsoft systems including Windows 7, 8.1, and 10.
• Expert knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) operating systems and solution architecture.
• Proficiency with open source tools including GitHub, SaltStack, and Chef.
• Strong scripting skills in Shell Script and Perl.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience in server operations and messaging disciplines.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage customer service requirements.
