Lead front-end architecture and mentor engineering teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric web applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect front-end applications and provide technical guidance on object-oriented JavaScript and modern UI technologies.
• Lead and mentor teams across multiple projects to maintain delivery quality, planning, and estimation standards.
• Design standards-compliant code focusing on SEO, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility (Section 508).
• Analyze user behaviors and patterns to improve website usability and overall functionality.
• Represent UI expertise during client workshops and technical RFP responses.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in front-end development and architecture.
• Expertise in object-oriented JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, Angular.js, Backbone.js, and jQuery.
• Proficiency with AJAX, Sass, D3.js, and Single Page Application (SPA) development.
• Strong understanding of web service integration using SOAP and REST APIs.
• Ability to define and parse data interchange structures including JSON and XML.
• Experience with website performance testing, monitoring, and responsive web design.
• Knowledge of component design patterns and content delivery networks like Akamai.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) using frameworks such as Selenium or Jasmine.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with content management systems.
