Description

Define and own the front-end architecture and standards for enterprise-scale BFSI platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical decisions across Angular, React, and TypeScript to build modular, reusable, and performant UI components.
• Translate business goals and user needs into intuitive UI/UX experiences through collaboration with UX designers and product owners.
• Implement front-end security best practices to prevent XSS, CSRF, and other OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Maintain architecture documentation, component libraries, and front-end coding standards.
• Partner with back-end architects to ensure seamless integration via REST/GraphQL APIs.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of front-end development experience with 2+ years in an architecture or leadership role.
• Expertise in React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3 (SASS/LESS).
• Deep knowledge of front-end security standards including OWASP, CSP, JWT handling, and secure cookies.
• Experience with financial applications or BFSI platforms such as capital markets, underwriting, or trading systems.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Jasmine.
• Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG 2.1), localization (i18n), and cross-browser compatibility.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with high-stakes U.S. financial ecosystem applications, debt markets, or SEC-compliant platforms.
• Working knowledge of design systems like Material Design, Bootstrap, or custom component libraries.
• Experience with frontend performance tuning using Lighthouse or Webpack optimizations.
