You will lead front-end architecture and technical strategy for complex web applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect front-end applications and provide technical guidance on object-oriented JavaScript and modern UI frameworks.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams across multiple projects to maintain delivery quality.
• Define standards for code quality, including SEO, cross-browser compatibility, and Section 508 accessibility.
• Oversee website performance testing, monitoring, and the implementation of responsive web design.
• Manage client relationships and provide technical expertise during RFP responses and workshops.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Expertise in object-oriented JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proficiency with Node.js, Sass, and AJAX.
• Hands-on experience with Angular.js, Backbone.js, jQuery, or D3.js.
• Strong understanding of Single Page Application (SPA) development and component design patterns.
• Experience integrating web services via SOAP and REST APIs using JSON or XML.
• Proven track record with Test-Driven Development (TDD) using Selenium or Jasmine.
• Knowledge of Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) such as Akamai.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to manage project planning, code reviews, and technical estimates.
