Description

Define and implement the micro frontend architecture for the FIOS Suite modernization, driving the incremental migration from legacy UIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect the micro frontend strategy using Module Federation or Web Components, defining shell/container patterns and routing.
• Design incremental migration paths for legacy screens, ensuring backward compatibility and minimal business disruption.
• Establish standards for UI consistency, theming, and branding across distributed micro frontend teams.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines enabling independent development, testing, and deployment for micro frontend modules.
• Enforce secure coding practices, accessibility standards, and performance optimization through code splitting and lazy loading.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in frontend architecture and development.
• Deep expertise with modern JavaScript frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong understanding of micro frontend patterns, including Module Federation and Web Components.
• Experience with legacy UI migration and integration strategies.
• Proficiency with Material UI.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and backend-for-frontend (BFF) patterns.
• Ability to define contracts for inter-micro frontend communication (events, shared state).

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring UI/UX and frontend teams on coding standards and governance.
• Familiarity with distributed system monitoring, logging, and error tracking.
