Description

Define and implement the micro frontend architecture for the FIOS Suite modernization, leading the incremental migration of legacy systems to a scalable, distributed UI.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect the micro frontend shell, routing, and communication strategies using Module Federation or Web Components.
• Design and enforce standards for UI consistency, theming, and shared component libraries across teams.
• Build CI/CD pipelines enabling independent development, testing, and deployment for micro frontend modules.
• Ensure secure, performant integration of new modules with legacy systems while maintaining backward compatibility.
• Mentor frontend teams on coding standards, accessibility, and modern JavaScript best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong knowledge of micro frontend patterns, including Module Federation and Web Components.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architectures.
• Experience with Material UI or similar component frameworks.
• Understanding of security practices including XSS, CSRF, and CORS mitigation.
• Ability to define and manage contracts for inter-micro frontend communication.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance optimization techniques like code splitting, lazy loading, and CDN strategies.
• Background in establishing UI governance, design systems, and accessibility compliance.
