Description

Define and execute the micro-frontend architecture for FIOS Suite modernization, leading legacy migration and ensuring scalable, secure UI delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect micro-frontend solutions using Module Federation or Web Components, defining shell/container structures and routing strategies.
• Lead incremental migration of legacy screens to micro-frontends, establishing standards for UI consistency, theming, and shared libraries.
• Design integration contracts for inter-micro-frontend communication, ensuring backward compatibility and seamless interaction with existing modules.
• Architect CI/CD pipelines to enable independent development, testing, and deployment for micro-frontend teams.
• Enforce secure coding practices (XSS, CSRF, CORS) and optimize performance via code splitting, lazy loading, and CDN strategies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in frontend development and UI architecture.
• Deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong understanding of micro-frontend patterns (Module Federation, Web Components) and legacy migration strategies.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns.
• Experience with Material UI or similar component libraries.
• Knowledge of shared authentication, authorization, and session management in distributed UIs.
• Ability to define coding standards, review processes, and UI governance.

Preferred Skills

• Telco domain experience or background in FIOS/telecom suite modernization.
• Experience mentoring UI/UX and frontend teams.
