Description

You design and implement automated testing frameworks for UI and backend applications in Linux/Unix environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA automation frameworks using Python, specifically Pytest or Robot Framework.
• Execute UI automation testing using Selenium and automate backend application testing for REST APIs and databases.
• Implement testing solutions within Docker containers and debug automation scripts to identify software defects.
• Utilize DevOps tools including Jenkins and Kubernetes to support the testing lifecycle.
• Automate backend services and manage interactions with relational and NoSQL databases.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in QA automation.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Pytest or Robot Framework.
• Experience with Selenium for UI automation.
• Ability to automate REST APIs and backend services.
• Experience with relational databases and in-memory NoSQL databases (Aerospike or Cassandra).
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience using Docker.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools including Jenkins and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Apache Spark or Apache Hadoop.
