Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead front-end development using Angular, SASS, HTML5, and CSS3.

Define front-end architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices.

Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA, Section 508, Title I, and Title II accessibility requirements.

Implement and maintain USWDS (U.S. Web Design System) and State Design System standards.

Perform accessibility testing using JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, automated tools, and manual keyboard navigation.

Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and improve front-end CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with Java backend teams for REST API integration.

Develop technical documentation and ensure secure development practices.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Angular, SASS, HTML, and CSS.

Proven experience as a Front-End Tech Lead / Senior UI Developer.

Accessibility Certification – CPACC, WAS, or Equivalent (Mandatory).

Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508.

Hands-on accessibility testing experience with JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, front-end architecture, and code reviews.

Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

USWDS / State Design System implementation.

Government or public-sector project experience.

Enterprise front-end architecture and reusable component libraries.

Experience working with Java backend teams
