Description

Translate high-level requirements into intuitive, ADA-compliant user interfaces and accessible web PDFs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute visual design stages from concept to final hand-off, creating wireframes, storyboards, and user flows.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define innovative solutions for product direction and experience.
• Conduct user research and evaluate feedback to establish design guidelines and best practices.
• Ensure strict ADA compliance for web PDFs, including proper document structure, alternative text, and screen reader navigation.
• Present and defend design milestones to peers and executive stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 3+ years proficiency in Adobe PDF Pro.
• 3+ years proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• 2+ years intermediate HTML coding experience.
• 2+ years knowledge of JavaScript and CSS.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related field.
• Ability to translate complex design roadblocks into simple, user-friendly interactions.
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG), including tagging tables, setting metadata, and ensuring high color contrast.
