Description

You will build high-traffic web applications by translating UX wireframes into efficient, responsive user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Build corresponding UIs from UX wireframes while proactively identifying design risks.
• Implement responsive web designs using semantic HTML and CSS3/SASS.
• Fetch data from service endpoints via AJAX to render dynamic web content.
• Apply performance optimization techniques like lazy loading, image compression, and bundling.
• Ensure application accessibility by following WCAG 2.1 standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of front-end development experience.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS3 (SASS), and Vanilla JavaScript (ES6).
• Experience with modern frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Strong grasp of Git version control, branching/merge strategies, and Bitbucket.
• Deep understanding of front-end design patterns including MVC, BEM, OOCSS, and Module patterns.
• Knowledge of AJAX, XHR, and client-side vs server-side processing.
• Experience with accessibility tools including JAWS, Voiceover, and Talkback.
• Proficiency with browser Devtools and performance tools like Lighthouse.
• Familiarity with Node, NVM, and NPM.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Vue, Polymer, Handlebars, or jQuery.
• Usage of WebFiddler for debugging.
