Description

You will build and maintain scalable single-page applications and RESTful APIs using React and the Java Spring ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize Single Page Applications using JavaScript and React.
• Design and implement REST APIs using Spring Boot and Java.
• Develop software adhering to Portals Platform standards and patterns.
• Participate in peer code reviews and mentor less experienced developers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of full-stack or UI/backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES5/ES6) and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Hands-on experience with React, Webpack, Babel, and Immutable.js.
• Solid understanding of Spring, Spring MVC, and Java 11.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Netflix OSS.
• Familiarity with Mongo and modern build tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Strong command of Git version control.
