Description

You will design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases for software delivery components. You own the quality assurance process from script creation through defect closure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test scripts for UI and API layers using WDIO and Jest.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and drive triage meetings to resolution.
• Track defects through closure using Jira and Xray.
• Provide demos of completed user stories and automation scripts to stakeholders.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, identify process gaps, and streamline testing workflows.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of overall experience in software testing.
• 7+ years of hands-on UI Test Automation using WDIO, TypeScript, and JSON.
• 5+ years of API Test Automation using Jest, TypeScript, and RESTful web services.
• 3+ years of experience with Node.js environment configuration, dependency management, and vulnerability resolution.
• Proficiency with SQL queries and data layer testing, including source-to-target mapping (STTM).
• Experience with GitHub for repository management, branching, and merging.
• Experience running UI automation via GitHub Actions or similar workflow tools.
• Experience using Jira and Xray (or similar tools like HP ALM) for test planning and execution.
• Experience managing credentials via vaults like CyberArk to avoid hard-coding.
• Experience with JFrog/Artifactory for Node.js environment management.
• Strong manual testing skills and technical writing for QA documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in highly regulated industries such as banking, life insurance, or financial services.
• Knowledge of AWS development environments.
• Experience with GitHub Wiki markdown language.
