Description

Lead UI and API automation efforts in an Agile environment to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for all delivery components.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and manage the defect lifecycle using Xray.
• Conduct demos of completed user stories and automation scripts for stakeholders.
• Drive defect triage meetings and contribute to Agile ceremonies to identify process gaps.
• Maintain the test automation codebase through code reviews, branching, and merging via GitHub.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of total experience in software testing and automation.
• 7+ years of hands-on UI Test Automation using WDIO and TypeScript.
• 5+ years of API Test Automation using Jest, TypeScript, and RESTful web services.
• 3+ years of experience with Node.JS environment configuration, dependency management, and vulnerability resolution.
• Advanced SQL skills for data layer testing, including data transformation based on STTM.
• Experience with GitHub Actions for scheduling and running UI automation workflows.
• Proficiency in Git for repository management, including cloning, branching, and merging.
• Experience using Jira and Xray for test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Experience with manual testing and technical writing for QA documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in highly regulated industries such as financial services, banking, or insurance.
• Experience working within an AWS development environment.
• Knowledge of GitHub Wiki markdown for documentation.
