Description

You will develop and execute automated UI test scripts to ensure web application quality, functionality, and cross-browser compatibility.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Execute UI automation scripts to validate responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
• Perform API testing using Rest Assured or Postman to verify backend integration.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, or Maven.
• Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with developers in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in automation engineering and UI testing.
• Strong proficiency in Java-based automation using Selenium WebDriver.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Expertise in TestNG or JUnit for test execution.
• Experience with API testing via Rest Assured or Postman.
• Proficiency with version control tools including Git and Bitbucket.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Docker.
• Ability to debug UI issues using Chrome DevTools, Fiddler, or Charles Proxy.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and Agile/Scrum processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
