Description

You will validate UI changes and ensure data integrity through rigorous SQL testing and job output verification.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional testing for new or modified software programs and procedures.
• Write and run SQL queries to validate job outputs and replicate reports for accuracy.
• Inspect database tables to verify jobs produce correct results and data integrity.
• Collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders to refine requirements and size testing activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, refinements, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on UI and database validation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and validating outputs.
• Hands-on experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio).
• Proficiency with Databricks for data processing and validation.
• Experience with test management tools such as Qtest.
• Familiarity with Jira for tracking and workflow management.
• Knowledge of Azure, Power BI, and Looker.
