Description

Lead the migration of legacy MS Access applications to SQL Server and PowerApps, owning the full System Development Life Cycle for complex, multi-tiered systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business owners to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, test, and implement new applications, including data modeling, database object creation, and logical structure design.
• Produce technical design documents and program specifications for multi-tiered transactional systems.
• Mentor developers and provide architectural guidance to the engineering team.
• Manage production support, troubleshooting issues, and escalating technical risks.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting multi-tiered transactional applications.
• 6+ years developing Microsoft PowerApps, including canvas, model-driven, and portal applications.
• 6+ years using Microsoft PowerPlatform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Power BI) and Common Data Service (CDS).
• 6+ years designing complex common data models within SQL Server with advanced relational database knowledge.
• 2+ years experience designing, developing, and supporting MS Access applications.
• Proficiency in SQL, Flow, Excel, and SharePoint for data processing and storage.
• Experience handling data access, manipulation, and secure system efficiency.
