Description

You will design and refine digital products for web applications and public service platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run usability tests for web applications and Boston.gov pages.
• Translate requirements into high-fidelity, accessible prototypes in Figma, ranging from wireframing to production UI.
• Document components and contribute new patterns to the Boston Design System.
• Guide design decisions by synthesizing data, research, and organizational constraints.
• Synthesize research findings into actionable recommendations and design updates.

Required Skills

• 3-4 years of experience in digital product and service design.
• Expert proficiency in Figma.
• Deep knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
• Experience working within Agile workflows.
• Strong ability to facilitate design sessions with senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Experience in government or similar organizational environments.
• Strong systems thinking and user-centered design advocacy.
