You will shape the user experience for internal observability products by translating complex technical data into actionable interfaces.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the user-centered design process from concept to delivery, collaborating with product managers and engineers.
• Conduct user research and usability studies with engineering, SRE, and support teams to understand observability workflows.
• Translate telemetry data, including logs, metrics, traces, and alerts, into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Design dashboards and visualizations for monitoring platform health, performance, and behavior.
• Iterate on designs based on direct user feedback, technical constraints, and platform requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer, Interaction Designer, or Data Visualization Designer.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar industry-standard design and prototyping tools.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into clear user interfaces for technical or enterprise-grade products.
• Solid understanding of interaction design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices.
• Strong knowledge of data visualization principles for technical audiences.
• Understanding of observability concepts such as logs, metrics, traces, and alerts in cloud environments.
• Experience working within agile product and engineering teams.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing for observability platforms such as Splunk, Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Data Visualization, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
