Description

You will design and enhance the checkout experience for Kroger’s NGPOS project across multiple store formats.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research with cashiers, shoppers, and store associates to identify pain points.
• Facilitate collaborative workshops with cross-functional teams to solve experience and technical challenges.
• Create and maintain UX artifacts including personas, user journeys, and service blueprints.
• Provide design guidance to development teams and ensure alignment with the UX vision in agile ceremonies.
• Visit Kroger stores for firsthand observation of the point-of-sale ecosystem.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in UX design.
• Strong proficiency in Figma.
• Proven experience in workshop facilitation and user research.
• Familiarity with AI tools for design workflows.
• Ability to work onsite near Blue Ash, OH.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, product management, and retail operations teams.
• Comfortable supporting data-driven projects and emerging AI technologies.
