Description

Lead design vision for internal and external web and mobile applications, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and accessibility standards.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and architects to define and execute product vision.
• Create storyboards, wireframes, mockups, user flows, prototypes, and site maps.
• Produce production-ready art assets and style guides for development teams.
• Serve as Digital Accessibility SME, implementing WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 standards.
• Conduct user research, card sorting, journey mapping, and usability testing.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in requirements gathering.
• 3+ years of experience designing user interfaces.
• 2+ years of experience with accessibility standards including WCAG 2.1 and Section 508.
• 2+ years of experience designing for web and mobile applications.
• Expert proficiency in prototyping and wireframing using Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for asset creation.
• Proven experience working within a Scrum or Agile development team.
• Strong understanding of UX design methodologies and user-focused design mentalities.
