Description

You will design and build scalable features for an eCommerce technology stack, moving from Figma wireframes to functional code.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and wireframe new features and internal tooling using Figma.
• Build accessible, performant website features that work across various browsers and international requirements.
• Develop Shopify themes utilizing section and theme blocks, Section Rendering API, and core search discovery.
• Implement UI Extensions for Checkout Extensibility and Customer Accounts.
• Create technical documentation and provide accurate estimates for stories and tasks.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software design and development with a focus on UI-heavy experiences.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and Liquid.
• Expertise in Figma and modern design principles.
• Experience writing custom Web Components.
• Experience working in large-scale international eCommerce teams using Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Bitbucket or GitHub.
• Proven ability to design features that integrate into preexisting structures while adhering to current UI/UX designs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with unit testing, Playwright, and writing code for testability.
• Knowledge of Shopify Pixel and tracking within Checkout Extensibility.
• Experience using Section Rendering API and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
