Description

You will lead front-end strategy for a global equity swaps team, owning two major initiatives: enhancing a React-based data visualization platform and migrating C# applications to a modern web UI framework.

Responsibilities

• Drive UI/UX development for React-based dashboarding tools and greenfield web platforms.
• Translate complex business requirements into wireframes, mockups, and final React UI components.
• Collaborate with front-office users to gather requirements, present solutions, and iterate based on feedback.
• Act as the subject matter expert for web UI development, supporting teams in Montreal.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, usability, and visual design across platforms.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in modern front-end frameworks, specifically React or Angular.
• Proven ability to translate user requirements into intuitive web interfaces.
• Strong communication skills to present ideas and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience working within global teams and navigating multi-time-zone collaboration.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and execute independently.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with C#, SQL, Python, Java, or kdb.
• Background working with front-office or financial technology teams.
• Experience migrating legacy desktop applications to modern web UI frameworks.
