Job Description:
- Experience with accessibility testing (e.g., WCAG, ARIA) to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
- Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) to understand technical implementation.
- Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision.
- Familiarity with agile development and SCRUM methodologies.
- Certification in usability testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB).
UI/UX Testing & Validation:
- Conduct comprehensive testing of user interfaces and interactions across web and mobile applications.
- Ensure designs are implemented as per the UI/UX specifications (alignment, spacing, colors, typography, etc.).
- Identify and report UI/UX inconsistencies, defects, or usability issues that deviate from the design.
- Evaluate visual elements, including images, animations, and transitions, to ensure they meet the design standards.
Usability & Functionality Testing:
- Perform usability testing to evaluate the ease of navigation, user flow, and overall user experience.
- Test application functionality to ensure features work as intended from the user’s perspective.
- Test across different devices, screen sizes, and browsers to ensure consistency and responsiveness.
Cross-Platform Compatibility Testing:
- Test designs on various devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) and browsers to ensure cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.
- Verify that the user interface is responsive and adapts well to different screen sizes and orientations.
Collaboration with Design & Development Teams:
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to review design wireframes, prototypes, and visual elements, ensuring alignment between design and implementation.
- Collaborate with developers to report and resolve issues identified during testing phases.
- Provide actionable feedback on design improvements and adjustments to enhance the user experience.
User Feedback & Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze user feedback and usability test results to suggest enhancements to the overall user interface and experience.
- Participate in iterative design sprints, testing prototypes, and validating user stories.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Document all test cases, test results, and defects clearly and concisely in issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Prepare detailed test reports that highlight usability issues and potential risks.
