Description

You will own the full development lifecycle for Universe, UniData, and Pick applications, from design to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test applications within Agile or waterfall methodologies.
• Translate user stories into technical specifications and functional code.
• Perform code reviews and approve production deployments within scrum teams.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases.
• Mentor junior team members on technology, sprint management, and code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application development.
• Strong knowledge of Universe, UniData, or Pick/Basic programming languages.
• Proficiency with Linux and AIX Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and TDD-based unit testing.
• Proven ability to perform defect triaging and recommend technical solutions.
• Experience conducting code reviews and enforcing technology best practices.
• Ability to provide task estimations and manage technical implementation for user stories.

Preferred Skills

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate technical feasibility and identify logical gaps in requirements.
