Description

You will manage and maintain Unix-based environments and server hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform Unix builds using RHEL and SUSE.
• Manage LVM device configuration and system management.
• Automate tasks using Shell or Python scripting.
• Administer hardware via remote systems including iLO, iDRAC, or similar tools.
• Manage system deployments using Kickstart, Jumpstart, Yum, or Satellite.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Unix administration.
• Hands-on expertise with RHEL, CentOS, and SUSE.
• Proficiency in LVM device configuration and management.
• Experience with Python or Shell scripting for automation.
• Working knowledge of VMware vCenter and system imaging.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP functionality and networking.
• Experience with HP and Dell rack-mount server hardware.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of AIX.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as SaltStack, Chef, or Ansible.
