Description

You manage daily operations for Enterprise and Secondary Data Center virtual infrastructure environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical and virtual servers running RHEL, Ubuntu, and Windows 2012/2016/2019.
• Own provisioning, patch management, and capacity planning for EDC and SDC environments.
• Execute data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery testing to ensure data integrity.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting and develop documentation for support procedures.
• Partner with networking, database, and storage teams and participate in on-call rotations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in server administration and virtual infrastructure.
• Proficiency with VMware and VMware ESXi in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience managing Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and Perl.
• Experience with SQL Always On cluster management.
• Ability to perform after-hours support for ESX upgrades and virtual projects.
• Experience installing and configuring virtual machines within production environments.
