Description

You will manage and maintain Linux and Unix operating systems within a secure production environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Linux/Unix operating systems, including file systems, user management, and system configuration.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Administer Active Directory and Unix security, including planning and implementing security policies.
• Manage server patch cycles and maintain technical documentation for all implementations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Unix/Linux administration.
• Proficiency in Python or Perl for task automation.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix file systems and system configuration.
• Experience with Active Directory and Unix security administration.
• Knowledge of LDAP and authentication protocols.
• Experience managing server patch cycles.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
