Description

You will own the stability and performance of critical production environments. Your work ensures seamless operations across Unix systems and diverse database platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot production issues across Unix (Solaris, AIX, Linux, HP-UX) and application servers (WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat).
• Perform database administration and performance tuning for Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Execute software installations, environment configurations, and release deployments following SDLC standards.
• Utilize version control tools like SVN and BitBucket for code and configuration management.
• Provide technical consultancy and support for cloud-based applications, including AWS infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 6-8+ years of experience in software production support or database administration.
• Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting and system administration.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and major relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Postgres).
• Familiarity with application servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, or Apache Tomcat.
• Understanding of SDLC processes and version control systems (SVN/BitBucket).
• Experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech/BE) or MCA.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Java/J2EE architectures and XML.
• Experience in financial services, including AML, KYC/CDD, or SWIFT messaging.
