Description

You will administer Unix and Windows servers to support legacy modernization projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute OS and application builds, hardening, and configurations.
• Develop scripts and troubleshoot system issues.
• Write technical and user documentation for completed work.
• Collaborate with agency ITS staff, Data Center Services teams, and vendors.
• Participate in change management workflows and regular technical work sessions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in server administration.
• Proficiency with Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Experience managing remote virtual servers.
• Hands-on work within Azure cloud environments.
• Familiarity with MS SQL and/or Oracle database backends.
• Strong written and oral presentation skills for technical demonstrations.
• Experience working in virtual collaborative settings with multiple teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within a project and support team structure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy modernization project workflows.
