Description

You will manage and secure Red Hat Linux environments across the enterprise, handling infrastructure design, system hardening, and service maintenance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux OS versions 5.x through 9.x.
• Design infrastructure and create architectural diagrams for multiple server build environments.
• Harden Unix operating systems using CIS benchmarks and implement security protocols.
• Manage and secure Unix services using SSL and TLS, including LDAP, auditd, sudo, and SELinux.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Red Hat Linux installation and troubleshooting.
• 3 years of experience in infrastructure design and architectural diagramming.
• 3 years of experience with Unix OS hardening based on CIS benchmarks.
• 2 years of experience managing filesystems (VXFS, ZFS, EXT3, EXT4, XFS, UFS) and volume managers (VXVM, LVM).
• Proficiency with LDAP services, including setup, maintenance, and migration.
• Experience implementing security tools such as auditd, sudo, and SELinux.
• Knowledge of general networking communication protocols and security tools.
• Experience virtualizing Linux virtual machines using VMware.
