Description

You will manage UNIX-based systems and handle database administration and optimization tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain UNIX-based systems to ensure reliability and security.
• Manage and optimize databases using SQL to support data infrastructure.
• Perform system administration tasks and shell scripting within UNIX/Linux environments.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues through systematic troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a UNIX Engineer or Systems Administrator in a production environment.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux operating systems.
• Strong shell scripting skills.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
