You will manage and maintain UNIX and Windows operating systems, storage environments, and file systems in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain UNIX and Windows operating systems, storage, and file systems.
• Execute backup procedures and oversee storage management tasks.
• Troubleshoot system issues across operating systems and network protocols.
• Apply UNIX principles for file editing, command execution, and file manipulation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in UNIX or Wintel system administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Perl, or Shell.
• Strong understanding of UNIX principles and command-line file manipulation.
• Knowledge of networking principles: routing, subnets, TCP, IP, VLANs, and UDP.
• Experience managing storage environments and file systems.
• Ability to manage and implement backup procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working across both UNIX and Windows administration environments.
