Description

You will manage and maintain AIX and RedHat Enterprise servers within a UNIX infrastructure environment. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer AIX and RedHat Enterprise servers, including patching and updates per standard cadence.
• Provision AIX virtual server builds using PowerVM.
• Troubleshoot technical issues for both internal and external customers.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and diagrams.
• Develop monitoring capabilities to support preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system administration.
• Proven experience with IBM AIX in an enterprise-level environment.
• Hands-on experience with IBM PowerVM virtualization.
• Experience with system build processes and procedures in virtualized environments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting AIX-based environments.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with shell scripting, Ansible, or PowerHA.
• Knowledge of IBM Big Fix Patch Management or IBM Tivoli Monitoring.
• Experience with physical server hardware break/fix and OS hardening.
