Description

Manage and maintain Unix/Linux server infrastructure, handling installation, configuration, and troubleshooting across Suse, AIX, RHEL, and CentOS environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and troubleshoot Unix/Linux servers.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python for configuration management.
• Manage system security, including user access controls and OS hardening.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues across distributed environments using networking knowledge.
• Perform virtual machine operations, including cloning and migration using VmWare and OpenShift.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Unix system administration.
• Proficiency in scripting using Bash and Python.
• Expertise with configuration automation tools, specifically Ansible.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH).
• Experience with virtualization platforms like VmWare.
• Experience with container orchestration like OpenShift.
• Familiarity with core Unix system architecture.
• Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools, specifically Terraform.
