Description

You will manage and secure Unix-based operating systems and virtual infrastructure for on-premise hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer, secure, and manage IBM AIX, Oracle Solaris, Red Hat, and Oracle Enterprise Linux environments.
• Manage virtual infrastructure using Oracle OVMs and Zones.
• Maintain hardware including IBM P Series, Oracle, and Intel servers.
• Handle IBM GPFS/HACMP, Oracle Cluster Software, and incident management processes.
• Execute IT change and release management procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration.
• Expertise in IBM AIX, Oracle Solaris, Red Hat, and Oracle Enterprise Linux.
• Experience with Oracle OVMs and Zones.
• Hands-on knowledge of IBM P Series, Oracle, and Intel server hardware.
• Proficiency with IBM GPFS/HACMP and Oracle Cluster Software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Experience in escalation and incident management.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
