Roles and Responsibilities:

• Administer HP-UX and Linux/Solaris environments, including OS installation, patching, hardening, and service configuration.
• Implement and troubleshoot Unix authentication using PAM with LDAP and Active Directory integrations.
• Manage patching and lifecycle activities using Red Hat Satellite and defined security policies.
• Automate provisioning and configuration management using Shell scripting, Ansible, and Puppet.
• Support core network and storage services including SSH, FTP, DNS, DHCP, NFS, and NTP; participate in 24x7 operations.

Skills Required:

• 3-8 years of relevant Unix/Linux systems administration experience
• HP-UX server administration with strong understanding of Red Hat, Solaris, CentOS, and SUSE Linux distributions.
• Unix authentication expertise using PAM with LDAP and Active Directory integration.
• Server patching and lifecycle management using Red Hat Satellite; OS installation and hardening.
• Automation and configuration management using Shell scripting, Ansible, and Puppet; LVM and core services (SSH/FTP/DNS/DHCP/NFS/NTP).

Good to Have:

• Cloud infrastructure administration and VM administration experience.
• DR planning and DR execution experience, including participation in DR exercises.

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
