Description

You will manage, optimize, and maintain UNIX-based system operations and infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize CLIENT systems and UNIX infrastructure for efficient operation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot complex system issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Develop strategies for performance optimization and manage data integrity through backup systems and regular checks.
• Document changes to CLIENT configurations, UNIX scripts, and operational processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in operational management with a focus on UNIX systems.
• Strong proficiency in UNIX/Linux operating systems and system administration.
• Expertise in shell scripting for automation and task management.
• Proven ability to perform system troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Experience managing large-scale operations and complex system integrations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• RHCE or CompTIA Linux+ certifications.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios or Zabbix.
