Description

You will administer, monitor, and deploy middleware and systems across on-premise and AWS environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain middleware, systems, and services in on-premise and AWS environments.
• Perform maintenance, upgrades, and security configurations including patches and service packs.
• Develop scripts in Bash or Python to automate tasks and monitor system performance.
• Manage resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning for availability.
• Implement security tools and policies to maintain compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of middleware, systems, and services architecture design and administration.
• Expertise in Solaris and Linux system administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash or Python.
• Experience with email delivery protocols: Postfix, Exim, DKIM, SPF, DMARC.
• Support experience with IBM WebSphere, HCL Portal, Oracle Application Server, Pentaho, or Actuate.
• Hands-on experience with VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, or Fargate.
• Experience working within established configuration and change management policies.

Preferred Skills

• CI/CD process development using SVN, Jenkins, or Maven.
• Configuration management with Ansible or Terraform.
• Familiarity with endpoint security: CrowdStrike, Tenable, or Splunk.
