Description

You will provide advanced support for UNIX systems, focusing on storage and network drivers for enterprise PLM/CAD applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in CATIA and ENOVIA environments.
• Develop automation tools using Shell, AWK, Java, and Perl to improve engineering workflows.
• Analyze system failures and employ kernel debuggers (AIX KDB, GDB) for crash analysis.
• Support high-availability solutions, storage array integrations, and enterprise PLM/CAD deployments.
• Provide customer support for network administration and performance troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 10–15 years of hands-on experience with UNIX (AIX, FreeBSD, Linux) administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Shell (KSH/BASH), AWK, Java, Perl.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, NETBIOS, and network troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with enterprise storage arrays and high-availability solutions.
• Hands-on experience with CATIA and ENOVIA platforms (installation, configuration, support).
• Demonstrated ability to automate system diagnostics and reporting.
• Familiarity with source code control and bug tracking systems.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
