Description

You will develop, maintain, and support applications using Unix and Perl, ensuring system stability and timely delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application logic using Unix and Perl scripting.
• Perform minor enhancements, compile, and deploy C code changes.
• Implement and manage messaging interfaces using IBM MQ.
• Write, optimize, and tune SQL queries for Sybase databases.
• Maintain mainframe connectivity and support Apache web server applications.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Unix and Perl scripting.
• Working knowledge of C programming for compilation and deployment.
• Experience with IBM MQ or similar messaging systems.
• Proficiency in Sybase database design, modeling, and query tuning.
• Experience with mainframe connectivity tools (e.g., Shadow Direct).
• Knowledge of CGI programming and Apache web servers.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of .NET and Java.
