Description

You will develop and maintain user interfaces and backend integrations for onsite projects in Kansas City or Frisco.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain UI components using Java and Eclipse.
• Implement and manage REST and SOAP web services for data exchange.
• Structure data payloads using JSON, XML, XSD, and YAML formats.
• Integrate Kafka messaging streams and document APIs with Swagger.
• Execute development and deployment tasks within a Linux command line environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Proficiency with Eclipse IDE and Linux command line tools.
• Strong experience building REST and SOAP web services.
• Hands-on experience with JSON, XML, XSD, and YAML data formats.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka for messaging integration.
• Familiarity with Swagger for API documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with testing tools such as SoapUI, Postman, TestNG, or JMeter.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), containerization (Docker/OpenShift), and databases (SQL, Cassandra).
