Description

User Support Specialist based in Miami, FL, responsible for end-user technical assistance, system administration, and hardware management. This role requires frequent travel to district offices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct end-user support via telephone and on-site assistance for application issues.
• Install, maintain, and physically move client hardware and software equipment.
• Administer user accounts and monitor IT systems to diagnose technical problems.
• Track IT equipment inventory and manage assets across district locations.
• Train district users on computer applications and follow issues actively using trouble tickets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in direct end-user support, including telephone and on-site assistance.
• Hands-on familiarity with network, telecommunications, and operating system environments.
• Expert user of government word processing, spreadsheet, and email systems.
• Experience with DOJ office automation environments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with a pleasant telephone manner.
• Ability to travel 1-2 days per week to other district offices using government vehicles.
• Undergraduate degree required; software provider certifications valued.

Preferred Skills

• Prior teaching or training experience involving computer applications.
• Experience with database, imaging, or automated litigation support applications.
