You will author, edit, and manage technical content to meet user information needs through accurate and concise documentation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain business processes, how-to articles, troubleshooting guides, and online help.
• Analyze user content needs to develop requirements and estimates in partnership with product owners.
• Apply enterprise content strategy and principles to align business content with the enterprise content model.
• Partner with Subject Matter Experts to obtain information and validate content accuracy.
• Use knowledge management metrics to drive improvements in content presentation and report progress to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience in knowledge management, content development, or technical writing.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to provide work examples.
• Deep understanding of content lifecycle management and knowledge/content management best practices.
• Proficiency in structured-based authoring and information typing.
• Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and taxonomy.
• Familiarity with industry-standard style guides such as Chicago Manual of Style, AP Stylebook, or The Elements of Style.
• Ability to manage content deliverable schedules and multi-task effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with IT, UX, and training teams.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DITA, XML, and component content management systems.
