UX Designer

You will design accessible experiences for web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Design user flows, interaction models, and user research frameworks.
• Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing to ensure compliance.
• Troubleshoot accessibility issues within semantic HTML, CSS, and ARIA code.
• Communicate accessibility findings and technical recommendations to stakeholders.
• Apply WCAG guidelines to both web and mobile design workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in UX design.
• Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.0 AA and WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
• Proficiency with screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
• Strong understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and ARIA.
• Experience with accessibility testing tools such as axe, WAVE, and Lighthouse.
• Proven background in user research and interaction design.
• Experience designing for web and mobile platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with design systems and accessible component libraries.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
• Knowledge of ARIA Live Regions, focus management, and dynamic content accessibility.
• Experience training or mentoring teams on accessibility best practices.
