Description

You will design, prototype, and evaluate user interfaces for technical software products.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype user interfaces using Figma, Balsamiq, or similar tools.
• Review UX artifacts from team members to ensure quality and consistency.
• Conduct usability studies, record findings, and provide clear recommendations for improvement.
• Communicate design rationale to product managers, developers, and other design disciplines.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback to converge on optimal solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX design.
• Proficiency with Figma and Balsamiq or similar prototyping tools.
• Experience with UI implementation technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Skill in using Adobe Creative Suite for design tasks.
• Experience with screen-capture, image editing, or video-editing tools.
• Proven experience working with technical software development through academic, research, or industry projects.
• Strong professional communication skills for remote meetings, chat, and email.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) or optimization.
